I tried hooking up my son's new 12G deluxe nanocube (2 24W 50/50 PC) to a GFCI adapter. The outlet near the tank is a standard one and it's easier to just add an GFCI adapter instead of changing the outlet.

The ballast is tripping the GFCI a couple times an hour. Has anyone else had problems like this?

Thanks,
Todd

Plug a 150W light fixture into the adapter (Halogen reading lamp, anything with a reasonable load). If that also trips the GFI frequently (actually, at all) it's the GFI adapter. If it doesn't, it's the JBJ ballast.
