I have a drilled 29 with a 10gal sump. I'm looking for suggestions as to what skimmer to use. I do not want to use a hang on skimmer. I'm tryin to avoid having much hardware in the water of the tank itself (which is why i drilled it instead of using an overflow)

Thanks in advance, Matt

hmmmmm, what kind of $$ do you want to work with? ASM's are good in sump skimmers for the price. euroreef is a step up from that for more $$. also, from what I hear about CSS in sumps, with some DIY work is also good for the money...

if $$ is no object...deltec APF600 ;)

but, IMO you should look for something that has a recirculating pump, or with some DIY work you can add one...they work so much better that way.
