So my cheap a** Catalina pump blew out my GFI and now needs to be replaced.

My usual electrician can't help me out right now.

I know its not too touch to change out but I'd rather have someone come help me who knows what they are doing. Don't feel like electrocuting myself.

Can trade for corals or cash. PM me if you can you can help me out!

TIA

It's not hard to do. I wish I could help, but I am in San Jose.
If you have an exact replacement, then just follow the same wiring as the old GFCI. First thing is to turn the breaker off for that outlet. Once you are sure that the power is off, go ahead and unscrew the face plate and socket. Pull it out, look at how it is wired, and rewire the new socket based on the old socket.
There should be only three wires: Line (black), neutral (white), and ground (green).

If you do not have an identical replacement, then wire according to the instructions or label.
Just remember that the black wire means L or Line or Hot
The white wire means N or Neutral
The green wire means G or Ground
