I got lucky to be the first one to cut a whole in a historic building to setup in wall aquarium. The project started today. Thanks to good referals from big costumers who gave the good words about me to authorities. The cutting started an hour ago for 180 in wall aquarium.

This is the building (http://www.wasd.org/dgr/ie/ph.html) and you can research more info about it too.

Like the city township guy said that this would've been nice 200 years ago when this hotel was a path to most famous people in the country.
This will be recorded in the history of this building.

The aquarium is not far from Herdic Room.

Thanks, I got those who record and approve down today to get some info and we had to go through what paint, wood, do's and don'ts and all codes. They are happy and some have seen some of costumer's aquariums so they know how this one will look like. Will update later and have to go for a dinner.

no paint yet and it has to be mixed later and brought. It was just finished an hour ago. There was no hole and stand, shelved in the back but is done now.

Yes this is going to be a nice tank. I will make sure the wavemaker order is in tomorrow so you can check it before installation. As a matter of fact I might be hooking a computer and Neptun to it but will find out on Tuesday. I do have another similar project working on too in Houghsville and is 120 gallon. I went to Bob after work around 6 today and picked up those two clownfish. Then came home and left for dinner and while I'm at the dinner I remember those two fish in the car. I had to come home and drop them and go back to the party but of course I have to come to MY RC to check :D :D later.

Hey Mo good job one the Park Home tank..Is this tank going to be open to the public? We have not met yet so I 'll take this time to introduce myself..My name is Nate and I live live Williamsport. You seem to have the most reef related experience in the area So I was wondering if you would like to stop by and check out my tank sometime?

zooqi

Thank you Nate and there are other experince reefers in the area too and all we do we learn from each other. Give me a call and I will be more than happy to stop by (570)337-9069 .
I will have more info on the location of the aquarium for everybody and I'm working on a small booklet with info about the aquarium, fish id, corals id and ocean and how to protect it next to the aquarium. I will make sure is educational to those who go there and visit it.

The booklet title will be

Information About This Reef Aquarium
And Its Habbitat

By
REEFNEST
Teaching The Generation About Importance
Of Ocean

Or something like that..
Ideas are welcome. This is my work project but I would like REEFNEST to get involved and teach those who will be seeing the aquarium.

Table of contest
1
2
3
4

I will have history of the building in the first page, history of the aquarium, little about why REEFNEST is putting this booklet together. Situation of ocean polution. What we are doing through this hobby to help protect the ocean. Future of the ocean.. etc..

Information About
Each Fish In The Aquarium
Corals

So from now on I would like REEFNEST booklets about certain aquariums there and hopefully soon our publication.

Ideas please,,,,,

Mo I love it. I know it's going to be a great tank, it's looking great now. Is the wood pine or something else, and where did you get the styrofoam?
Are you giving it the works sump/fuge and the whole nine yard's?

zooqi
12/31/2005, 02:21 AM
hello there, I have another project similar that I took today too. The wood is oak and pine combination. The styrofoam you can get from hardware store and is 1/2" thick. I had to put that just in case if the floor shift or changes. This building is been through alot in the last 200 years or more so I know the floor is not what it looks like.
It will have sump, fuge, skimmer, reactors and all that. I'm thinking about adding neptune system with the laptop and looking for good laptop. It might not have that right away but it will be good learning too. I know few of the stuff I'm getting will be used for REEFNEST involved students to see and learn.

Thanks Dane and RD 69 ..
Nate,, this is sitting in the second waiting room for Doctors Office. Is not running yet, It is hooked up but waiting for one more thing with plumbing and following vent code for that. I told them it will be tested and filled next week and my guess is Wed. I have other big projects working on and trying to fit them all in my schedule. This is a busy time of the year for me.

filters behind it and big fuge. Maybe a spot for sick fish or two pairs of clownfish :d
