I picked this up at Keys Island Saturday along with a couple of other frags, but Im not sure what this is. Its much more red in color. I thought it was a mille but Im not really sure with this close up pic.

Hehe! Fragging might be awhile but, I will sure keep you in mind when I do. Or you can just go up to Keys Island in Denver. He has a few more for 20 bucks a frag thats about an inch tall. I love this acro though. Its the most colorful red sps I have ever seen in person. Hopefully it keeps its colors under my 250s. Keys run 400s on thiers. Keys actually have a bunch of nice sps frags for 20 bucks! I love going over there when I can!

Just a heads up and this is in NO WAY a slam on Keyes can happen to anyone!

Before I put my frags in my tank I took a good look at them with the mag glass, well I hate to say this but they had red bugs on them
SO you may want to check your system CLOSE the frag I found with them was a deep water arco. needless to say for 20 bucks its not worth treating nor do I have anything here to treat it with so it went bye-bye did not see any on the Prostrata or Monti whatever it is but now im worried:(
So LOOK CLOSE!!!!!!
I called Keys and they went and looked and told me $%^#@ yes they see them on the deep water arco.

Sorry about the recomendation there bud. I always do the interceptor treatment before I put it in my main tank. Red bugs are really not that big of a deal unless you have plenty of crusty's.
Interceptor seems scary at first but its really effective and does not do any harm to the tank. Except some crusty's of course. But my cleaner and CBS survived 2 full treatments. I can spare a pill if you need it. Is it the deep water acro on the bottom right of the display tank that you saw the bugs on? I got that frag too but Im not really concern. If it did have it, it was nuked with interceptor. LMK if you need a pill.

Thanks for the offer :) yes it was that arco that was infested
I tossed my frag and looked the other two over really good and saw none so I hope im in the clear
I need to go see my vet and see if I can talk him out of some so I have some on hand to do a dip
I know better but glad I got the mag glass out ;)
And dont be sorry for the recomendation it a great place with nice helpfull folks I will be going back :)
Just wanted to let folks know so they can check
Better safe then sorry ;)

Does that mean their entire coral tank should be considered infested?

I don't know about that, they seemed to know all about the treatment so I'm sure they took care of it and looked over the other frag tanks
Its just like anywhere else or trading you have to be on the look out and dip your new corals
