Anyone got one I could buy off of them? Or at least borrow? I finally got my ro/di system hooked up and wanna test water before I use it on tank.

Well, I think I'll just go ahead and buy one. I'll let any club member use it if needed.

Nope, well, 2 cups of Decaf.... Just in a good mood today! I got some fantastic business news over the past couple of days giving me a reason to look forward to the next few months rather than worry about having enough work. I will however be at the bar this afternoon for a few beers with my best client... Oh ya!

Thx, not as much as me tho! I have steady work but it's small beans stuff. I got great news about duplicating every part I've mad for the last 3 years for a new plant out west. That's 3 years of pieces parts, machines, gages, and templates to be made and installed by fall. SWEET!

Great job man. I wish thing were better in the Mortgage business. The rise in intrest rates is killing the refinance aspect of it. After Xmas I need to go out on a marketing spree and try to solicit reltor and what not to attract more business on the purchase side of things.
Anyone need to refi to get more $$$ for reef related stuff?

Well nevermind the TDS meter for now. Now I'm not getting any discharge from the dang thing. After playing around with it I figure it to be one of three things.

First, my water pressure might suck.

Two, RO Membrane needs replaced. Remember, this is a used unit.

Three, There is a check valve elbow thing off of the "purified" water exit from the RO housing.

I figure this because water is still flowing out of the discharge portion of the RO Housing. Just not the purified discharge line. So, I took the membrane out and tried the system without it. What do you know, it worked. However, since I had the damn thing apart, I decided to clean the lil check valve thing. It was pretty hard to blow through, and seemd to even clog up every couple times I blew through it. But, I dont know if it;s supposed to be that hard to blow through it.

Anyone got a clue?
I was thinking cheap route first=borrow a pressure gage from someone to see if thats it. WINK WINK
Then try to find one of those lil check valve things.

Replace the check valve elbow with a standard street elbow. Swap the input and waste water lines and backflush the membrane for 15 min. Swap the lines back and replace the check elbow. It shoul dgive you another 3-4 months. Even if you don't test TDS it's gotta be alot better water quality than you had B4...

Ok, I tried to flush it and it did'nt help. So, I took the check valve and hose off and turned the water on to see if I got anything out of the hole. Guess what. NOTHING. So I assume that the membrane is bad. It could have dried up or something. Do you think I can run it without the membrane till I get a new one. The water would still go through all the other stages, and like Staker said, anythings better than running strait tap.
