GRMAS meeting minutes 12/5/05

·January Meeting will be on Wednesday January 4th, 2006. Due to the holiday we have moved this to Wednesday instead of the normal Monday meeting. We still plan to meet at the Family Fare Community Room from 7pm-9pm.

·Treasurer’s Report: $770 in club funds (generated from member dues and proceeds from auctions after meetings).

·We now have a club forum on the MI Reefers website. The meeting minutes and further information regarding events we are having will be posted at both the MI Reefers and Reef Central club forums for easy access to members.

·Due to the lack of update on our club website we have considered delegating/ hiring someone to help develop and maintain our website. If any one is interested in this please let us know at the next meeting.

·Discussed keeping cephalopods and their special needs, this is a very interesting aspect of the hobby. Please ask Derek if you have any questions, as he is very interested in this.

·Agenda for January meeting:
oSwap meet update
oGeneral discussion about moving tanks.
oAuction

·Frag Swap: A lot of progress was made during this meeting regarding the frag swap we are hosting. There is still a lot to do to make this a success, we will be asking for assistance, as the date gets closer for various projects for this event.
