newbie in sarpy county

hello all,
My name is marc and i am starting a nano reef, (unfortunately space dictates small) 12 jbj cube. sooner or later will move top a larger tank.
I was wondering what are the benefits of being in the OMS?? sounds like a good deal, just don't have the 20 right now to join. i'll probably have a whole lot of q's to throw up in here so please dont flame me too hard.

Well, the benefits would be to meet some other people in the hobby, see different speakers from all over, and participate in some fun events.
Come out to the holiday party next week, and get some more info.

Welcome to the area. I'm also a sarpy resident. I agree with CH, probably the best thing about OMS is meeting other reefers and being able to talk to them about what they have had success and failures with.
