I have a 2 1/2" female G. chiragra for sale. She is cream colored with pink legs and swimmerettes. I'm just asking what I paid which is $15. Pick up only.

She is really too bog for the tank she's in (5g) and I don't want to upgrade right now. This animal would do well in a 12-20g tank with no crusteaceans or snails in it unless you want them to become food.

Here's some info:

Will also trade for a small G. smithii, G. viridis, N. wennerae, or possibly others.

I decided I'm going to get rid of the whole setup. The mantis really needs a bigger home, so it might be better to sell them separately.

Mantis:
$15

Eclipse Mini Bow 5 (acrylic with black trim and hood) - very minor scratches
25w 50/50 PC mogul base
50w Hagen heater
Rio power head
Mini mag float
A couple chunks of LR
CC substrate (1")
$40 for all

$50 for mantis and tank together (re-iterating this mantis needs a bigger tank)

If you change your mind about shipping, please let me know. I'm looking for a mantis for the 30 gallon acrylic tank in my classroom. The tank is waiting for a mantis, and has only a molly that I acclimated to salt water and one aiptasia anemone. I can send you a link to my school webpage if you'd like. Last school year, we had a G. ternatensis in our classroom. I also have a 125 reef at home, with almost 2 years of saltwater experience.

Sorry there too many risks with shipping. I'll probably take her to the LFS if nobody bites in a few days.

No I don't, our camera battery won't recharge so I on't have pics for awhile. It is a pretty standard looking G. chiragra, perfectly healthy too.

Ahh... I dunno! :) How do you quantify how pink something is?

I may have a picture I can post, I remember taking a couple when I first got her, I think they are still on the camera so I may be able to download them even with dead battery. I'll try this evening.

Similar to this picture, except she isn't green, more of a cream color (this is not my mantis) http://www.grimreefers.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10003/normal_Gonodactylus_chiragra1.JPG
