3rd Semi-Annual Tn. Frag Swap

If you haven't already, start preparing for the January frag swap. It will be held on January 14th at the Radisson Opryland in room Donelson B. The swap will begin at 1:00 and end at 4:00. The hotel is located right off of Briley Parkway next to the Opry Mills Mall and the Opryland Hotel. There is plenty of eateries locally and tons of factory store shopping very locally.

Because they have carpeted floors (one of the things I tried to avoid), be very careful with your displays. We will have tables set up lining the walls. There will be electrical service available, but bring heavy duty extension cords, just to be safe. If you plan on bringing a display of some sort, bring towels, also, just in case. Please contact me if you plan to set up some sort of large display. I plan to sketch everything out to make sure we have all corners covered. I'm going to talk to a few LFS and local vendors about setting up small displays, with more fun details to come.

OK North TN who is taking frags? We could set up a tank with our stuff in it. I would prefer this over everyone taking individual stuff up.

I have a setup ready to go that may have a few spots left, If someone has just a couple frags to swap. I'll be using a shallow tupperware container 12" d x 24" lg x 4'' h . I'll try to have it just about full of frags.

Ok, Folks whos going and how many tables will we need I'll require about 1/3 of a 2x6' table? Anyone else need space?

I'm sure everyone will have fun and find some things for their tanks and the good part is no 4 hour drive to or from. I'd really like to see this happen once a year.

I hope it can:). As long as we get a good turnout and break even, the next one should be as good or better. The number of raffle items that keep piling up (thank you in large part to Rendos) should be incentive enough. There is some really nice stuff for free.
