best lights for a 40 breeder?

i'm starting to flesh out the plans for my 40 breeder upgrade, and was wanting opinions on lighting. i personally love PCs (will be a mostly zoa tank), but i don't know much about VHOs, etc. I'm not really wanting to go the metal halide route because i'm not really into SPS. any suggestions are welcome

Jer; I started out using VHO over a 30. I really loved the lighting effect. If I was to do it all over again, I'd still use VHO.
