What did you create from scratch or modify for your tank. You know the invention you made that you "had" to tell everyone about.

I made a return line to the main tank out of a cricifix and some rope.:D

Well let's see, I made my tank out of plywood, glass, silicone, epoxy, and some 1 x 3 's, and I made my stand, side cabinets, and the capony is also from scratch. You can see the system on Sunday :D

Heh... well, my 'personal frankenstein' was a 'custom' 30 gallon. The opertion was a success but the patient didn't survive. Translation: always make sure the counter upon which you build a custom tank is not only level, but isn't twisted! ;)

Oh Robert,
That's the tank that ya'll were talking about at the meeting at your house. It looks really nice, too bad it didn't work out.

Does the beer bottle on the table give us a glimpse of what occurred the day the tank was being setup.

No Joe,
I believe that it took a few more days than that. THe bottom of his tank cracked because of the twisted counter top. Bumper.

Robert,
someday you should try that long "shotgun" tank again. It looks like a cool idea.

Do you have pic's of the ballast box. I'm building one now and it has gone through several transformations. (i.e. recepticles and timers attached) I'm curious on how yours came out.

Boris.

Boris, happy to help. I can scan, burn them to a ROM, and send them back to you via mail. Email me if you need my address.

I'll bring you some pics of the ballast box at the next meeting and you can explain to me how to post pics. I have no idea how to do attachments.
Boris.

Boris, do you already have them as files on your computer? If so, the best way to handle this is for us to do it over the phone, since you can sit in front of the screen as I describe things.

:( No, all I have are 'old fashioned' paper prints. I'd have to take the negatives back to a foto shop th translate them to floppy:rolleyes:

Boris,
You might want to have them put on a CD it holds more. :D I have a scanner and CD burner, so if you want I can do all the dirty work for you. It isn't that difficult.

Tracy I think I'll take you up on your offer because your shop is close to me. When can I swing by and drop off the pics?
Boris.

Anytime Monday thru friday, 8am to 2:30pm I am at the shop. The shop is open til 6pm during the week and on saturdays til 3pm, so you could drop them by and leave them on the black counter in the customer waiting room. If you know what day you will be coming I will tell my Husband, so he knows what is going on.
