sexing jaw fish

If you are talking yellow headed jaws, I may be able to help you, I currently have a breeding pair in a 12 gollon Eclipse, they have had eggs twice in 2 months, the first batch was aborted and the second is being incubated by the male as I post this, it has come to my attention that the male, the one with the eggs, has two black spots at the front of his lower jaw, the female does not, also, the male is slightly larger, so, in my opinion, it is possible to tell the difference between the genders by this observation....
