CherryCat,

Here is a bunch that I know of. No particular order. Unfortunately I don't have addresses.

Tropical Paradise, San Leandro
Lucky Goldfish, Oakland, 9th and Broadway
Aquarium Concepts, Hayward
The Aquarium, Concord
Aquatic-Reflections, San Ramon
T & T Aquarium, San Jose
Nippon, San Francisco
Sixth Street Aquarium, San Francisco

I know there are a few others just can't think of the names. How lucky are we to have to so many so close by.

Thanks
Matthew

Check out my website at http://www.geocities.com/LFSinSFO/Lfs.html

I currently don't have a review for Tropical Paradise on my website yet but here's the info -

295 139th avenue, Suite B
San Leandro
510-614-1011

Aquarium Concepts is in the process of moving to a new and bigger place so I don't have that info w/ me.

Lucky Goldfish is a nice but small store in Oakland. I was there yesterday and they had a nice collection of small corals, they look like plants in 2" pots.

Aquarium Concepts is supposed to open their new store this weekend, and I've driven by and it will be fantastic. They hope to be the premier store in the Bay Area.

And if you're near Concord, drop by SuperPet Warehouse (925-687-7080). They're near 680 at highway 4. Its a WAREHOUSE full of equipment, a huge selection of tanks, lots of dry goods, and a large selection of fresh & marine fish & corals. Worth the trip.

Have fun, and visit Steinhart Aquarium in Golden Gate Park. http://www.calacademy.org/aquarium/

Can you give me more info on Aquatic Reflections? I work in Pleasanton and would like to check it out. I cannot find a listing for it.

Thanks:)

dont bother with Aquatic Reflections
he has HUGE markups
i have gone twice and have not been back
he has nice stuff but high
the same thing that would sell for $40 at Tropical Paradise would be $95.00 there
and no im not kidding
the only thing i found inline pricewise was clams
just my 2 cents

Not an LFS, but worth a visit is The Steinhart Aquarium in Golden Gate Park. http://www.calacademy.org/aquarium/coral_reef.html

They have a 6,000 gallon reef tank there.
