Today the juvenile bluehead (jb) was chasing the puddingwife (pw) relentlessly. They didn't get along well but today was really bad. I had tried to catch the jb but it hides in tiny crevices and and I really didn't want to strip the reef work apart. Well, the pw got so stressed that it swam too near the male CB shrimp. It was gripped with both claws. I stuck a net in there and Mr CB released him. But, 10 minutes later, the pw was in the shrimp's mouth, tail first!
Grrrr!!!! Who said CB shrimps don't attack fish?
Anyway, my tiny jewel is still alive. I caught a 3/4 inch damsel last weekend that has a blue body with a dark dot near the top fin. The upper side of its body is an orangy red colour. What type of damsel is this?
