Here is my tank thread. This all started when My wife and I went to the aquarium up north. We went to the petbox a few days later and saw there little nano set-up for $250. We had to have it. So we bought everything to go with it...ended up spending about $300 the first night. Brought home fish, this stupid rock that absoutly had no meaning, (that we bought) come home, threw it all in the tank...woke up the next morning, dead fish and it stunk to high hell. We started researching...long story short, we learned what we did wrong, fixed it, and now...4 months down the road, the 5gal is awesome. The coral in the back is really annoying, looks ugly, and is doing nothing for about 3 weeks. I think its gonna get "the boot" tonight.

This is really the only pic I have of the Nano at the moment. It has 2 small clowns, one small puffer in it. Does pretty well. We have 1 mushroom in it, and a few other corals I cant identify. (lol, still learning)

Then, I got to surfing japan-update one day and come across a 38gal that a guy already had some saltwater fish in...he wanted $250 for everything. I snatched it up. The goal with this was to run this tank 100% everything Okinawa. So everything from the sand to the water to the fish is all local. I get everything from "the fish lady" outside of Kadena Gate 4. For livestock we have 2 clowns, 5 demsels, snails, blennies, crabs...all kinds of stuff. When we scooped the sand up, ALOT come with it. very "live". We also have a few corals. Pics can speak for those...

We also just got a bubble tip anenome that we hope the clowns will host in. It was hiding under the rocks when we brought it home, but within the last few days it has come out. When I was at home for lunch, it was almost all out.

My wife and I really enjoy the hobby. We are still learning alot about the hobby, and the corals. None the less...lots of fun.
