Drs. F & S usually has some good prices on LR if you get about 90#. Other than that, I usually get mine at the LFS.

I usually buy mine at the Fish Doctor's in Ypsi, they don't have much there right now. I just stopped on my way back from Ford.

I went to Gary's this weekend and he had like 2 pieces in his tank. It seems like everytime I need something nobody seems to have it in at the time. Talking with the people at Tropicorium it sounds like thats just about all they have anymore except their only open for 2 days that I can get there on and I'm busy for the next few weekends. *Sigh* Things never seem to go right for me!

How much do you need? I am getting Weimer's 40 gallon soon and need to stock it. I was thinking of ordering Marshall rock somewhere on line. Wanna split shipping?

Sure when you find what you want to get send me a link so I can check it out, and I'll let you know for sure.

I am trying to determine where to buy and how much. I will probably try the "cooking" method on it too.

Scott,

I think that I am going to order from premium aquatics. I hear that UPS ground ships next day from their facility to us. I think that I am going to order 40 lbs of cured MI LR (shipping is about $20 for that quantity). I will order around end of November probably.

If you want to share shipping, take a look at their site and choose what kind that you want.

Jen that sounds about right to me sign me up for 40lbs as well. Let me know the cost and I'll split it with you next time I'm in the Lab.

Sorry, I must have missed the earlier posts.

Nope, I have not ordered it yet. I hopefully will pick up the tank this coming weekend. I also hope to check out Larry's rock before I order too.

I am debating about QT'ing my fish in it before I make the order now. It may be a while before I do. I should know in a week for sure what my plan is.

Jen I'm actually looking to unload my tank and start it over if your interested in some fish for your new 40 let me know I might be willing to donate some chromies to your cause. We'll see where I go or what I do here in the next couple of weeks.

I'll keep them in mind. So far, I think that Kendra wants: Pygmy Cherub angel (baby), pair of clowns, and get this one.... a domino damsel (baby). She insists on the damsel as much as I cringe.
