Q? on lighting

i have a 30 gal oceanic cube. deminsions are 20lx18wx21h. i found a fixture theat has 1 175W halide, and 2 18w 50/50 compacts. it has ~5 inch tall legs. Qusetion one is haet... will that be too much heat in a 30 gal tank? and two, will i be limited on my livestock potential? corals? clams? Thanks

You probably won't be limited with the 175, but you may want to upgrade to a 250w MH. I suggest a 10000k with PC actinic supplementation or a 14000k or 20000k bulb with no actinics.
