The Start of my 2.5gal MiniBow!

Well tonight i picked up the 2.5gal miniBow. Im looking to do some zoo's, ric's, maybe some other softies like pulsing or pompom xenia and some sexy shrimp. Well i just got the tank. Now im going to pick up a aquaclear 20 "AC20" and figure out some lighting. Was thinking of the standard 10w 10k pc from customsea life, but now im thinking more towards this..http://nanotuners.nanocustoms.com/nanotuners/product_info.php?cPath=30&products_id=161. Well i havent put any water in it yet, so tomorrow when i get the filter, im probably gonna throw some aragonite in and water and let it run for a little until i get the light. Will try to get some pix as soon as i can.

Hows this sound for equiptment so far? Like i said im tring to stay VERY VERY basic here and do very little to NO MODS. (god i never thought id hear myself say that).

I am getting ready to set up the exact tank. 2.5 mini bow with the orbit satellite and a aquaclear 20 modded fug.

If you can wait the set up your tank until this weekend, nano-reef.com is having a 2.5 pico challenge that begins Oct 15. You will have to wait until that day to setup your tank though as it requires you to place an item to be determined in the unfilled tank. This is to make sure that you had not started the tank before the contest began. Should be fun.

I think imma just use the ac20 for water movement, not into modding it just yet. Plus i dont think ill see any signs of Trates, trites or amonia if all the New water for my 2.5gal water change comes directly from my 29gal which i never see any signs of anything with my 20gal fuge. So ill just simply take water from the 29gal every week or two and put it in the 2.5gal then just simply replace the water taken from the 29gal with new clean salt. hows that sound? By the way, i was thinking about just getting the 10w screw in coralife bulb from the LFS. Think it will be enought for zoo's and a few rics? Thanks.

i just picked up a ac20 for water movement and the 12in L current fixture with the 18w 50/50 bulb and moon light temp seems to be holdin around 74* added 2 small peices of rock from the 29gal one of which has a green stripe schroom and the other some green zoo's. They seem to be doing well. If all is well in a day or so, i might add a pink w/ blue mouth ric and a red yuma ric. Then see from there. Id love to post pix but i have no more space and i lost my downsizing software, so if anyone wants to volunteer to post them for me just email me at cre8ruckas@aol.com and ill send them so you can post them here. Thanks alot.

touch, if you need to downsize photos, open them with paintbrush and go to image then choose strech/skew. Choose what % you want to shrink them by and keep at it until your file size is small enough for RC.

Ok did the photo bucket thing...Only got 23 pix in there so far. It takes forever with Dialup! ugh. We'll Check them out, there mostly of my 29gal build and livestock, and i believe theres a few of my 2.5gal. Let me know what you's think. Thanks.
