i've got a "sick" hammer coral that i'm thinking about QTing in a little 5 gal tank with some PCs i have on hand. since the tank will only hold this one coral, i was wondering if any filtration was necessary. i suspect some leather vs hammer chemical warfare is going on, and i wanna test my theory
TIA

Where have you placed your hammer in your tank. I was getting some sick ones and my problem was in placement. I was told to placec them in the sand in the front 1/4 of my tank. Another thing that I underestimated was a bubble coral. They can reallly reach out and touch someone. I have also removeda piece here recently, the reason for my big push to BB, that had a black tip on it.
