I currently have a 75G FOWLR and thought to myself I would stop there when I got that one. Well, many months later I have decided to bump that one up to a 350. But untill I get that tank I had to have something else to do. So I started a nano. IMO Nano's are far more cool than most reefs I see.
Anyhow, About my nano
10 Gallon
20 LBS Cured LR
36 Watt Coralife (on the way)
AC/110 Power Filter Moded into Fuge (on the way)
--In the future--
2 False Perc Clowns
Not sure what type anemone yet
An Assortment of coral.
Cleaning crew
96 Watt Coralife

Well, I have this so far,
Got my 25 LBS of liverock from fedex today that was shipped out yesterday. There seemed to be a little dieoff so I went ahead and scrubbed in saltwater bucket then rinsed in saltwater.
Here is my arrival,

Here is the bucket I scrubbed the rock in.

And then the rinse side (all saltwater)

Here is the tank right before I added the LR. I have grabbed LS & 50% water (about 3 gallons) from my current 75G. Allthough it would help the cycle faster I am still going to wait 2 weeks before adding percs and another 1 week before adding anemone. I just want to make sure the rock is fully cured before putting anything in. I have swapped out a couple of the big rocks I got in my shippment for a few smaller rocks out of my 75G so that will also help with the cycle.
Disregard the Powerfilter and the Light as the ones I have ordered didnt arrive today like they were suppose to. Those two are only temp untill tomorrow (Hopefully).

My goal was to make a shelf type system out of the LR to give the anemone more easier places to choose to settle down. And also to make caves for hiding spots for inverts etc. Allthough you cannot see at the moment because of the cloudiness.
Tomorrow I shall post the steps I am taking on the AC/Fuge Mod like the one shown here at reefcentral with the AC70.
More to come soon

Nice aquascaping for being a 10 gallon. I had the hardest time getting the rock where I wanted it in my old 10 gallon.

Yeah, that "coral" is a feather duster. They are really cool. It likes to bein a place with not a whoile lot of flow, and minimal light.

It eats micro organisms in the water colum.

Thanks guys, Hopefully they are hearty and can take a beaten because it was only damp when it arrived in the rock. Maybe I can save it.

andrew Yeah, it was a good hour and a half of me switching rocks between tanks and moving them around. Thats what the fun is all about :)

Well, About todays progress......I got a heater lol. I was suppose to get the AC/110 and the light in the mail today.Pffttt
Hopefully tomorrow.
Will post more when I have more
Thanks everybody so far.

Got my Light and Powerfilter. Already made the mod into a fuge and waiting for the glue to dry. So far its been 24 hours & have another 24 hours before I can get it wet. Cycle so far is 1.5 weeks with partial water from my established 75 Gallon. More pics coming soon.

Oh yeah,
Online fish store sent me a 36" 50/50 96 watt coralife instead of the 24 inch 36 watt like i ordered. They said to keep if I wanted to. Now I gotta find somebody to trade for the 20" that will fit perfectly. What a deal eh? :D

with only 3.6 watts per gallon of power compacts that anenome isnt going to be to happy. unless it is a condy but the clowns you want wont host in that species.

2 weeks running so far. 4 10% water changes and one 20% change done. Added about 5 more LBS of LS from my 75G. 1 more week and I think I will add the percs. I put a Hermit in there today. He is going crazy on the algea, I will get me a clean up crew in the next couple days.
More to come soon.
