I am going to be ordering 2 Mantis Shrimp and a couple of other things from FFExpress to be shipped on Monday.

If anybody else is looking for a Mantis Shrimp they have a couple available in the Collectors Corner or if anybody wants anything else and pool the shipping with me let me know.

I tried to order a clean-up crew from them about 2 months ago. They called and told me that their arrive alive guarantee doesn't apply if the low temp is below 40. I've been waiting for the temps to come up before I was going to order.

I've got three or four nice sized Mantis shrimp running around my tank. Come catch them and there yours. In fact I would even consider paying you to come catch them!!!!

I just checked weather.com. It says that the highest low this week will be 31 on Wed. Still 9 deg below FFE's guarantee.

I think the animals would be ok unless you get some laxy FedEx worker who leaves your box on the Tarmac for an hour. IMO, it's not worth killing the animals when I can wait another month and not take that chance.

Hey, I caught one of the Mantis shrimp while rearranging my tank yesterday. He is just hanging out in a tupperwear container, if you want him let me know so I can throw him a little grub and maybe put the airstone in there so he won't die. It's a pretty good haul for down to Littleton for one little Mantis shrimp, but give me a call if you want.
