Training a Marine Betta to eat

How do you get them to eat prepared food? I have him in a 55 gal. tank with a pair of ocellaris, a cleaner shrimp, hermit crab, and some turbo snails.

I got him a little more than three weeks ago. I feed him live saltwater ghost shrimp which was fun watching him hunt and "dance" before he moves in and attacks.

Lately he looks at the shrimp, does his routine but he does not move in for the kill.

I tried feeding him freeze dried krill with a clear plastic tube i use as a feeding stick but he does not seem interested and moves away from the stick.

Any tips or suggestions?
