There are a LOT of them in Apollo Beach, but most are not
open to the public.

I went here yesterday. OMG!!!! This used to be a wholesaler. It was bought out 3 weeks ago and all the freshwater stuff is on the way out. They have 50,000 (!!!!!) gallons that they plan to fill. They probably have about 10% of that used so far. There is a lot of LPS and mushrooms not listed on the website. I spoke with Mike (one of the owners) and he tells me that he sells 2000lbs of figi rock a week through ebay. He doesn't have any in stock this weekend. Everything is under MH lights and once he gets his tanks/greenhouse sorted out, he'll start getting SPS and polyps. The best thing is that this guy is less than 2 miles from my house! I took a couple of pictures of the tanks, but my fiance has my camera at a bachlorette party (not her's) tonight.

FWIW, these guys ARE selling to the public, and the prices are nutty cheap! I hope they don't read this before I can buy a BUNCH of stuff.

Prices are on the website. You'll need to use IE (I usually run Opera).

Man oh man, these guys had 2000# of rock come in on Monday. I picked a piece of rock the size of a basketball. Well, it wasn't really a rock, since it was all old coral. I can see through this rock in several places, and its ten inches across!!! Yikes, it only weighed 11 pounds! Plus, I bought a saddleback puffer for $12 and nice panther for $20. I also bought a plate covered with 24 different kinds of mushrooms for $30. They had 3 pieces of monti cap that didn't look so hot. They are all 3-4" across. I asked how much and ended buying all three for $10!

ahh yeah... I know this place, it's been around for a long time. The previous owner moved up the road a few miles...

Too bad its such a far drive for me!

Just returned from there. Nice place and very frendly people.

I kinda got lost, and got off I75 a bit too soon, and took the long way there. Oh well....still a very nice place.

You were there on Saturday? Thats too bad. They get shipments every Monday and I can attest that most of the really cool stuff is gone by Tuesday.

Hello Pete...yep I was there Sautrday, and yes the Rock tanks were pretty much picked over. I don't think I got 1 frendly hitchhicker on my rocks, can't even see any pods ;-(

I found him to be a bit high on his price for scarlett hermits, 4$ each....place in Ft. Lauderdale has a critter pack I will be getting
25 scarlets- $ 20.00, 3 emerald crabs- $ 7.50, 1 serpant star- $ 4.00, 1 sally lightfoot crab- $ 4.50, 20 astreas- $ 8.00, we can send it ground for $ 13.00 to save on shipping. Total- $ 57.00 you can pay me through paypal.

Now that a good price on my critters.
