Hi everyone I just had a quick question. On my way home today I stopped at another lfs store and saw a scotter belleny. I was just curious of the dietary needs for this fish as I thought that he looked pretty cool and I wanted to buy him but I want to make sure that I can provide a good home thanks

They have fairly demanding requirements; in fact, they're pretty similar to mandarin dragonets. You'll want to have a well-established tank with a good amount of LR and a good sand bed. A refugium wouldn't be a bad idea either. If you do a quick search on the feeding requirements of mandarins, you can get a good idea of what you need. Scooter blennies aren't quite as bad as mandarins, but they're pretty close.

scotter blennies have a tendancy to accept prepared foods on a more regular basis than other dragonettes. otherwise, wolverine is correct. a scotters care is extremely similiar to other dragonettes.
