Ok guys - $80-$100 for a cleaning magnet?? my 125 has 1/2 inch glass what should I use and where should I get it. or is that about the right number?

How much for a Magnavore?
My two buddies have them and swear by them. I think they paid around 20 bucks. They both bought them via mail order.

Premium aquatics has a mag-float magnet for a 125gal for $10 and for a 300gal tank $20. My $15 magnet from LFS works great on my 125gal.

I've got a brand new set of Tunze cleaning magnets.
I bought two sets, but only use one. They came from
AquaTek in Texas. I think I paid $25 for them.

I use them on my 120 reef. Not sure if the glass is the
same thickness as your tank, but they do a really good job.

I'll sell them to you for what they cost me, $25.

thanks guys. bought the PA magnet for 20 for up to 300gal. I did searches and kept finding cleaning magnets 80-100. knew that was nuts. took a look again 'earth magnets' are bug bucks. needed salt anyway. got my pfo dual ballast today with some other stuff, huge! gotta take a shelf away from the wife. lol.
