Oh its not that far. I can make it to the tropicorium from Findlay in 1 1/2 hrs easy. Andrew if you have a chance to go then go. It is well worth the trip.

In good traffic, yes, about 1 hour. But Detroit is notoriously bad for traffic jams (I get up there often). I guess it depends on when he wants to go up. Avoid rush hour at all costs.

Jen its not in Detroit and there are ways to get there without dealing with traffic. Also its far enough from the big D (I used to live there) to not have the traffic problems anyway. You must go one heck of a long way if it takes you an hour from Toledo. As a matter of fact yesterday I made it from 275 and 75 to Findlay in less then 1hr. I always get off 75 at exit 32 (only 32 miles from the state line) and head on over to Inkster and turn right. I have never once gotten into any kind of traffic going to or coming from there at all hours of the day. If you want me to make you a map then I will :)

I think there's some kind of construction going on just north of the border. I think Tropicorium is just a few miles north of Monroe, isn't it? I've only been there once, but I know it only took me less than an hour to get there from Toledo. Its certainly worth the trip.

It is near Detroit Metro, a bit further than Monroe.

Per Mequest :)

North on 75 from Findlay, exit at west rd (exit 32), head west to Inkster, turn right and your almost there. Total Est. Time: less then 1 1/2 hrs :)

This is the way I figure it. It is only 50 miles to the state line and then 32 more miles up into Mich. Now thats only 82 miles and traveling at 60mph (we go faster) that would take 1hr 22min. The Tropicorium is not more then 10 min off 75. The way I figure it still lands me there in about 1 1/2 hrs and that would be going under the speed limit (I refuse to do that :) )

Anyway Jen I was talking from the state line (Toledo), not from Perrysburg (20 mile Difference). Oh and my GPS laughs at mapquest :D

Andrew you would be better off picking up the whole coral and not just the frag. Most of his frags are super small and all of them cost $20. For like $15 more you get the whole coral.

I may get a zoo rock unless he gives me 2 smaller frags for $20.

- Would it be worth it to stop at the PSP in Findlay?

It might be. Right now they are redoing one of their coral tanks but they still have corals in their pond tank.

I don't have my camera. I had to send it out for repairs and they said it takes 3-4 weeks and its been a little over 3 weeks so far. Should have it any day.
