Here are a few pictures from my 200 before it broke.

I miss that tank...:(

This Acropora secale started as a 1.5" frag. It was about 9" in diameter when the tank broke.

Not sure what this was, but also started as a frag...I love the green with bright pink tips.

Then there was an 8" Squamosa clam...he lived, but had to give him to Craig for safekeeping.

Then of course there were the fish, like my pair of Orange shoulder tangs...

Okay, I have to stop before I cry...or worse...spend a ton of money setting up a big tank again.

Looks nice. Be more careful next time. We all know there will be a next time.

just curious....any reason that you are aware of why it broke? Was it a home-made tank?

Richard, I remember 26+ years ago, the week Nick was born, when our 70 gal tank split at the seam. We had Discus in it at the time. I had a C Section and came home the day before this happened. My aunt was visiting and we heard a loud crack and ran to our bedroom where the tank was. My aunt held the sides together and I grabbed a 5 gal bucket. I carried the 60+ gallons, 5 at a time to our sliding patio window in the bedroom and dumped water onto the patio. Put the Discus into the 55 gallon. My aunt was scared I was going to hurt myself having just had surgery. But all worked out well. No wonder Nick likes aquariums! It was frightening though. At the time I was more worried about all that water on the carpet than the fish. You were gone when yours broke, weren't you?

Hey thats a nice looking clam. How many holes did you have in that tank?

Okay...
it was an Ocean View Aquariums tank, but I DO NOT blame them. The tank was ordered with a lot of holes in it. Possibly too many or maybe just placed wrong.

It broke while I was at work...I came home to a flood.

The tank had thirteen holes in it...drains, closed loop, returns, etc.
I think the three in the bottom is what did it. I had a lot of rock stacked directly over these three holes.
