$175 for a used Remora without a pump?

that's ridiculous. Brand new it's a $200 skimmer and it comes with a Rio 800 out of the box which is a $20 powerhead.

Dear Pooreefer and Fortyounces -

It appears you two possibly didn't read the original post. It is a Remora Pro, not the smaller Remora. If you go to Marine Depot, which seems to have the best price on Remoras, you would see that a Remora Pro with a Mag 3 (not a RIO, Fortyounces) costs $227. Subtract $40 for the Mag 3 and that is $187.
Then you add back $43 for the prefilter and that adds up to $230.00. I offered the two for $175 which is a 24% discount for something that really does not wear out. If there is anything that does wear it is the pump and I modified mine so I don't think it would be ethical to pawn it off on someone.

If you don't want to buy the REMORA PRO and PREFILTER that is fine but you could keep your ill founded opinions to yourselves.

That discount is kinda low for a used item! Just letting you know...my LFS sells the Remora Pro with a MJ PH for $200!
