Yeah, but you're in C-land. I'm looking for a co-pilot to ride shotgun with me. I get lonely sometimes.

I'm checking with Geo about maybe renting a table. We can pool resources and take turns selling group frags. Turn some of the profit into club treasury, some to frags we just can go home without, etc. What do you think? Spend the day in Columbus? I can whip up a couple shallow display tanks. If we can get some lights (MH and PC would be sweet) .... Just a thought. Anyone agree, or am I just stupid and nutz? :)

Sure, I agree, but I got nothing to sell. However, I'm willing to babysit the table or whatever to help out. I gotta truck to haull stuff around if that helps, but I need a co-pilot.

Ok, tables are $100 or $50 for 1/2, setup for vendors is at 8:30 that morning. We could all pitch in a few $ for the space, make up a banner or 2, sell some frags and custom reef geek stuff. those who want to participate can simply split the profits (helps pay for gas too). If a bunch want to jump-in, we might be able to raise some funds for the club treasury which will really help move things forward when we need to spend a buck or 2.

Tables for non vendors are included with the 5.00 admission. If you are going to just trade/swap/buy/ sell frags as a hobbyist the only cost is the price to get in. If you are going to set up as a business, then the vendor fee would apply.
See you there! These swaps are much fun.

Thx again Geo, I asked about a vendor table befauce my intent was to get the club involved and try to build up the treasury, maybe trade for some of the nicer frags, and not cheap out on kicking in for your event. Maybe you could set-up a club table section? Charge $10-15 per table and let recognized clubs have at it?

Ok, Geo let me know that we can show up as a club and join the std. frag swap arena as a club promotion. Now we just need to plan on being there. We'll make this the main topic of the next meeting and go from there.
