The more confused I get!! I'm one of those people who studies and researches every last thing-to the extreme. That's why it's taken so long (and money, of course) to get my new tank going.
Today, I researched powerheads. I thought I was sold on Tunze, but after researching for months (no kidding), I think I'm backing off on those. Why? Because I can get a Wavemaster with 4 maxijets for under $160. I know how to fix the Wavemaster if it breaks (simple electronics). So, why shell out $899 for the Tunze with controller? Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but an LPS tank shouldn't really need massive amounts of wave surge. Plus, that leaves me with extra $600 or so for awesome corals.
I'm also going barebottom! So radically different than my current 55 tank. :smokin:
Now that's decision made, it's coming out of the crate into the family room today! :rollface:
