I have decided to do away with most of my LPS corals, and concentrate on SPS. These LPS are taking up way too much room in the tank.
I have an Orange Cynarina that is about 7" across. $80.00

A Red/Blue Scolymia that is about 6" across. $50.00

And a frogspawn with about 8-10 heads. $50.00

You can come pick these up in Jackson, or I can bring them to the next meeting August 20, 2005 at Kermit's. I am not shipping these.

P.S. I will also consider trades. Nice SPS, or a 250 watt ballast/socket/reflector setup.

You've got plenty of room. Stick the Cynarina ,Scolymia, and Trachyphyllia in the sand and you'll have even more room.

Actually that is an old picture and the scolymia, and cynarina are in the sand, but I have added a few clams that are also in the sand. The Trachyphyllia is extremely sensitive to placement. I have had it for over 6 years, and I have learned that it hates the sand. It only likes being at the top of the rock formation under direct light but not a lot of flow.

I had to frag out my entire colony of pink birdsnest (seriatopora) because of a brown star polyp infestation at the base. I have 8 or 9 frags that are busting out in branches all over and growing fast. If you're interested, I could bring one to the meeting.

and concentrate on SPS

I'd think really long and hard about that.

Cathy - thanks for the bird's nest frag.
That was a really nice sized frag.

Glad you like it.

Let me know how it colors up under better lights. The mother colony was beautiful, so I'm hoping for good things from these frags.

You can get an idea from this tank shot of how it looked. I'll see if I have better shots of just the mother colony before it had problems.
