I also posted this in the used equipment forum at 90 gallon reef (http://archive.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=637906). It is not very far west of Charlotte, and (IMHO) a good setup. Please PM me with any questions. Thanks.
This is a complete setup with all fish and corals.
It is located near Shelby, NC, and has been running for 2-3 years. It includes the following:
90 gallon custom glass aquarium with corner overflow (tank measures 48" long x 18" wide x 24" high). Includes oak stand and 2 175w 10,000k Coralife metal halide pendants with extra 6500k bulbs. It has a Mag 12 return pump, 4 Maxi-jet 1000 powerheads for circulation, three Ebo-jager heaters, an extra Tidepool 2 overflow, a DIY carbon dioxide reactor for the refugium, and a 25gpd reverse osmosis filter.
The tank is filled with about 100 pounds of mixed Caribbean and pacific live rock, a thin layer of sand, very large encrusting gorgonian, colt coral, green finger leather, palyotha(?) zooanthids, two rose bubble-tip anemones, various snails, and two black diadema urchins. Fish are a yellow tang, coral beauty, ocellaris clownfish, fridmani pseudochromis, yellow-tailed blue damsel, dragon goby, and engineer goby.
The sump is a 30 gallon DIY "ecosystem" style sump/refugium with plexiglas barriers and bioballs. The lighting is 2 55w compact fluorescents (with extra bulbs) on a Custom Sealife ballast. The refugium portion has 1" of mud substrate, several pieces of live rock, and is filled with two species of caulerpa, chaetomorpha, and many pods
There's also a lot of extra equipment and chemicals, such as a Turboflotor 750 protein skimmer, an acrylic trickle filter, 2-part calcium supplements, kalkwasser, extra Oceanic salt, Kent iron and iodine supplements, gravel vac, rubbermaid containers, activated carbon, nets, fish food, etc.
Reef has been a joy to work with, but the cafeteria floor must be re-tiled, so I've got to sell it. Local pick up only. Asking $1200 for everything.
