we are a wild caught and breeding seahorses and pipefish from From thailand.
We would like to know what is the legislation per species to be able to be exported to th USA

I would say your best bet is to contact salt water wholesalers here in the USA. www.seadwelling.com You can try here to see what they say.

As far as I know there are no restrictions on importing seahorses into the USA. You might check with the Thai fisheries department to see what kind of export documents they issue. Also check with importers in this country to see what documents our authories currently want. Paperwork problems can be a real nightmare. BTW the thai fisheries department might have the names of the bigger transhippers in this country.
