I purchased a Coral Beauty about a week ago. My LFS said he was pretty much a vegetarian (Herbavoriuious ?). Anyway, I've tried to feed him Selects, Caulerpa, Shrimp and some macro algae with no luck. Today I tried some frozen plankton and he seemed to nibble at it, but not devouer it. Any suggestions or a site I can obtain some more info?...... TIA Jim

they do eat vegetables, but they are not vegeterian. keep trying the nori but also try sinking algae pellets. they are more likely to pick at something tucked behind the LR or near the outer edge. formula 1 and 2 are good foods. they are much better off if they can forage from LR. algae, small crustaceans and sponge will all be grazed upon. also feed mysis, plankton, and enriched brine. coral beauties have a widely varied diet so don't feed only meat, or only algae, etc. they may nip at open brian corals, SPS, and clam mantles.
