hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has any good or bad expieiences with CaribSea's Aragamilk.
the product claims to be an all in one additive for calcium, buffer, and essential trace elements.
Basically from what I gather the stuff is liquified aragonite.
could this be a true wonder product.

I know of two cases of use Myself and a co-worker.

My experience with it so far has been a good one. I have only been using it for a month or so now. Still to early for me to tell.

My co-worker's experience has not gone so well. She actually blames the product(or should we say a chemical reaction) for practically crashing her tank. But there are to many variables in her husbandry to be certain.

Anyway, If anyone has any knowledge/experience with this product please get back to me.

Thanks!

It is a wonder product if and only if you have VERY low needs for calcium and alkalinity. It supplements much less calcium and alkalinity than limewater. If it meets your needs, that's great. Keep using it.

OTOH, if it can't keep up (which might be the case with good coralline growth alone), you'll have to use something else.

Here's a thread where we were talking about it recently:
