Ich bin eine Berliner (how do I clean it?)

Hi,

My Berlin HO is clogged and I'm trying to clean it. The parts I can reach are free of excess coralline, but there are places between the outer tube and the inner ring I can't reach. The air tube and pipes are clear also.

Can you help?

A small bottle brush can reach most of it but you'll never get it all. This is a design flaw with this skimmer.You may try to soak it in a strong solution of vinegar and water to get the coraline and other calcerous deposits off.

Thanks, I'll try the vinegar. Much of it comes off just through agitating it with water, but it still lets lots in there. I was the thing getting most agitated.
