Metal Halide

I currently have a 175W metal halide and 2-No 20W actinics on my 29G reef. I was thinking about switching my core and coil ballast to an icecap for the metal halide. Anybody know if the icecap really burns the 175W metal halides 20% brighter ? Or just stay with my current setup?
