Just curious. I am consolidating tanks and could use a bit more elbow room. Got a few softies that I can bring frags from.

Hi Doug,
Yes, this month is the big frag trade!!! Should be a lot of fun. Have you heard where we are meeting yet??

I may have more stuff than I know what to do with. Lots of Montipora, tree coral, a couple of small leathers. I swapped oversome of the corals from the 180 and re-scaped the tank. Very little room in the 72 by comparison :D

Tenner,
Although not part of bare, I was lucky enough to get a frag of that plating montipora that u contributed. I am curious to know if you got that piece from lucky goldfish.
Thanks
Alex

Reefer on a budget,

Yep! I ended up begging for about six months, until they finally sold me a piece about the size of a quarter.

Have you been to their store recently. Last I was there the parent colony was completly dead.

Good luck with it, it's awesome.

hi matthew,
i forgot to say thanks for the nice frag. It's a shame what happened to the parent colony at lucky goldfish but thankfully u were able to persuade the owner to sell u a piece before it died. we tried our best to buy a frag from him with no success. hmm...in a few months after my frag has grown, perhaps ill offer the owner a frag...hehe.
is it true its a fast grower. the pic u posted shows quite a different growth from from the one at lucky. Has yours developed the tiers yet?
thanks
alex

I do have a tier going, it's about 4 inces in length on the right side, can't see it in the pics, they are too old.

I like the idea of selling a frag back to Lucky. Mind if I go ahead and do that with them?

This coral has been a fast grower in my tank, I use VHO, and it's in the top half of my tank. I started with a quarter sized cutting, after one year, I've been able to frag it about 10 times now.

Thanks
