New Seahorse tank pics
For all who are interested here are pics of my new 65g seahorse tank. The rock has been cycling for over a week now and the sand was added last night. I orded macro algaes from Foster & Smith yesterday and recieved them today. I am very pleased with my purchases...

I will be recieving some Caulerpa Prolifera in a few days that I purchased on ebay, that will add much more green to the tank. Other than some cheato, that is it for now, just going to let everything grow. I have no plans on putting any coral in the tank. Oh, I forgot, I will be getting a few pieces of Tonga branch to.

Well... enough of that...

Enjoy

cool! I'm looking at completely rebuilding my nano. I gutted it last week and put everything in the big tank at home. I was not patient enough and need to rig a skimmer. Well, maybe after my hand heals....

Ok, here are some pics just taken a few hours ago. I added more sand so the tank is cloudy.

Ocean Rider's Mustangs "H. Erectus" this pony is the male and is about 5" long... I couldn't get a good pic of the female who is about 4"

WOW, to both the boat and ponies. The boat is gorgeous, looks like something you could get lost in for about a week. And I love the seahorses, it makes me want to dedicate a whole tank to them also. But for now, I'll just enjoy yours. Oh, I'm so excited! I caught the six line wrasse, removed it from my reef tank, and one of the new red wrasses has already started coming out and being social. I can't tell you how happy I am, now I just have to trick that clown into the same fate. (I used a clear plastic scoop I bought from Rich, and put food into it and waited for about 30 minutes before the 6-line went into it.) The clown is too big, and he won't go near it, so I'll have to keep working with my fish hook. Love the boat, where do you take it? Jayne

I am so glad you caught the sixline, you can throw him in my big tank if you want.. lol

We are going to West branch today and we might just stay on the boat tonight and coming home Sat, then going back sunday. We are planning a trip to Sandusky lauching the boat in Ashtabula... did I spell that right??? PM me your email address Jane and I will get some more pics to send you.
