Well, I posted this question on other boards to see what kind of response I would get, of course I got lectured and berated, so I decided to try this one, as it specializes in the hard to keep stuff.

I saw a nice colorful one at the LFS, the owner told me he does not order these, as we all know they rarely survive. It came with one of his orders, so he has decided to sell it, for a hefty price of course.

Before someone else with insufficient lighting buys it and kills it, should I try it out? Or is it doomed regardless. Anyone with any success keeping one of these? BTW, it looks healthy.

Check out an earlier (January) thread asking for experiences on anemone husbandry. While it was littered with refreshingly honest admissions of failure, I seem to recall one individual claiming success with your extremely adhesive anemone. He might have the information you seek.
