ReefBuilder and kalkwaser ?'s.

Hi Dr. Randy,

What would be the least interval of time you would space between the addition of Seachem ReefBuilder, and kalkwasser? Something like 8 hours suitable, or longer. I'm using buffer and ReefBuilder every few weeks, but do i need to w/ using kalkwasser always as a source of top-off?

Assuming that you are adding the limewater slowly and that the pH isn't getting too high, there is no need for a time gap.

Reef builder is a buffer. You are adding two different buffers, plus limewater? Sounds unnecessarily complicated to me.

Also, if you are using Reefbuilder, a buffer, and limewater, I'd expect the calcium to slowly decline over time as the alkalinity rises. You need to balance the buffer additions with some calcium (more than is in the limewater)
