Moving to LA from Colorado

Hey all,
I am going to be moving to Baton Rouge in a few weeks from Colorado and was wondering what the reef clubs are like there. Also, does anyone know of a decent rental, no apartments, that allows pets, i.e. dogs. Any info anyone could give me is greatly appreciated. Either reply here, or PM me. I am excited to get down there and meet some new friends.

Check out the classifieds in The Advocate (http://www.livinglouisiana.com/). Baton Rouge is divided into areas and I would recommend Areas 4,5 & 6 pretty much in that order. If you find a house that interest you, PM or email me and I'll be happy to let you know about the vacinity.

Thanks to all! I am here in town and fighting a HUGE pile of boxes! We found a nice duplex by LSU on Oleander, met the neighbors who are very nice and once I get some time, I have to get my phone switched to a LA number and check out some LFS.

We have meetings about once a month, we are due for one soon. We just post it up on the Louisiana Reef Club site a few weeks in advance.
