Salt Mix Testing

Hi -

In case you missed the thread on the other board - a couple folks are getting together to run tests of our salt mixes.

Planning on 3 tests of each element, [Ca/Alk/etc] ... and running at least two batches of IO, Reef Crystals, and TM Pro Reef.

Other salts gladly accepted, that's just what we have available right now.

Anyway - it'll be on Saturday the 4th, 1pm ... hosted at my house. PM for details/directions.

Well, it's a wrap.

Thanks to those who came and joined the fun.

My biggest conclusion of the day:
I want a digital density meter. Talk about sweet :D

Hopefully we can do this again sometime, add some more salts into the mix. While I wouldn't say results were shocking, it was nice to corroborate all readings with two other test kits for the same compound, to mix all with same water/etc so that was `factored in'.

I'm certain we could improve, but pretty good for the first try :)
