Randy,
I have heard adding kalc helps to reduce PO4. But how exactly does that happen? Is it always PO4 that is first reacted? What is the condition that must be met when dosing kalc to make sure that happens?

Craig ran an experiment where it appeared that limewater reduced phosphate. I've not seen that experiment repeated or verified. I don't know if it really has an effect, or not.
