Hi there,

Besides Fuji live rocks, what other rocks can we put in a 90 gallons saltwater aquarium?

Can we put pagoda stone, Tufa rocks, lava rocks...??

Please advise.

Thanks.

Tristan

I have personally seen tufa used. It makes a great base and has plenty of holes for fish to play/hide in. I have heard of lavarock but have not seen it first hand.
What you could do is start with tufa as your base and seed it with some nice fiji liverock or caribbean rock. The main thing is to get your bacteria cycle going with colonized rock.
I will more than likely bringing some live seeded tufa to the next meeting fwiw.
