Just a note for all you reefers that are also divers. I have delt with many shops and Dive boat operations here in Florida, and you will find a few here and there that have definite ideas that the saltwater hobbiest should be out of business.

I have also seen a few with reef tanks in their dive shops! :)

Happily, it's often different here. Reefers are viewed by dive shops as allies. We at least understand how delicate the situation is.

It's recreational boaters, heavy industry and (ugh) coastal real estate speculators, --not to mention the dried-coral and seashell trade that are the bugbears.

Now, dive shops affiliated with resorts...that's another issue..GRRRR

Now that you've seen a few pics of the poorer dive spots, Larry, you have an idea :)
