Me and some of my current dive buddies are going to Cay Sal on April 12th for seven days with "Jim Abernethy's Scuba Adventures" aboard the "Shear Water", a 65 foot sports fisherman out of West Palm Beach. Cay Sal banks are about 30 miles north of Cuba down around Marathon in the keys. We will end the trip in Bimini before coming back to WP. She is air conditioned with two full heads and the compressor is below deck. It's the large one in the picture. It's a seven day trip at the cost of $1395.00 which includes meals and all diving.

You can see a review of a day trip I went on with them at http://www.siesystems.com/sharky/goldcoastcharters.htm . You can also check out their page at http://www.scuba-adventures.com/ .

We need 8 minimum to make the trip and we have three confirmed so far. They are selling the trip, I just want to go somewhere I have not been.

We will be diving blue holes and some wrecks and some walls. Just so you know we can only bring back six lobster each, but we can eat all we want on the trip. You can only bring back 20 lbs. of what they call protected fish ( grouper, snapper, hogfish ), but each person can bring back up to ten game fish ( dolphin, Wahoo, tuna, kingfish ). You can fish between dives and bring your own pole and frozen bait.
