One of the outlets to the used chiller I bought several months ago came in snapped off. It was a 3/4 inch schedule 80 pvc piece ( the grey kind) I was trying to find a bushing that would fit into that hole. Unfortunately, because its schedule eighty I cant find one. Does anyone know a machinist or any other way I could evenly shave down the diameter of one of the larger pieces they make for the white pvc? If I was able to repair this I was thinking of driving the chiller off of my mag 24 and adding a couple of sieos to my main tank. What size sieos would you use?

i like the big ones but i am going with the 620's, i am going to have 4-6 total. i like that they are realy small and use alot less power that the 1500 i have. i think the 620 uses 8 watts and the 1500 uses 36 watts. and with three 620 equaling one 1500 im saving on power and able to get more flow pattern out of 6 of the 620 than 2 of the 1500. just my thoughts

Stupid question, but have you check out a local plumbing supply place for the fitting. Lowes carries some sch80 stuff. To get it turn down you could carry it to any machine shop. I could be of more help if I actually seen broken piece. Why don't you drop off at the house and I will get it fixed for you?

Down here most of the sched. 80 stuff at Lowe's is in the electrical dept. rather than the plumbing section.

I got a 3/4 inch threaded and shaved the threads off with success. Now I need to figure how to plumb it in and decide on what type of seios I want. Summer is here so I have to take inspiration from Landon and get in gear.
