Did you have something to cool it with?

rick051074
07/18/2005, 06:29 PM
It has a 120mm fan to cool the canopy.
This would be a good MH setup to run.

Is there any other type of lightning that will work just as well?

rick051074
07/19/2005, 08:51 AM
I suppose you could use CF or T5. I tend to think MH is the best solution for Reef tanks but others may disagree.

Willie41
07/19/2005, 09:29 AM
Is it wire for that type of setup?

rick051074
07/19/2005, 10:21 AM
It is not wired for anything. That is something that comes with your lights. The canopy was built for a MH which means it is a lot higher than you would need for basic lighting.

Willie41
07/19/2005, 10:48 AM
Okay, then I might just get a lighting system that will fit the tank. Would prefer not to go with MH

rick051074
07/19/2005, 11:12 AM
Yea any 20" fixture will work fine.

Willie41
07/19/2005, 07:27 PM
Okay cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds like I won't need canopy for the tank, if its setup fo MH.

rick051074
07/19/2005, 10:23 PM
Yea it was made for the MH so you could use it or not use it.
